BWXT Completes Soil Sampling in Peterborough

BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. (BWXT), a subsidiary of BWXT Canada Ltd., announced today that it has completed soil sampling for the presence of beryllium at several sites in Peterborough, including the Prince of Wales Public School across from its facility on Monaghan Road.

Peterborough Summer Emergency Drills

We are currently updating our Emergency Response Plan for the Peterborough facility located at 1160 Monaghan Road. Over the course of the summer we will be conducting a series of drills followed by a scheduled full-scale exercise witnessed by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).
